Learning & Teaching Academic Staff Development Program: Student Engagement - ItC Drawing on the staff expertise of our guest facilitators, we will explore Student Engagement with an Indigenising the Curriculum lens. During this session participants will explore Indigenous pedagogies , in particular Non-verbal, Symbols & Images, Story sharing and Community links in relation to student engagement to:​ 1. Deepen their understanding of theories and principles of flexible learning environments; and ​ 2. critically reflect on their own practice in relation to these. All staff are welcome to attend and participate in components that meet their needs. The workshop has two components, a plenary session considering the topic and then two breakout options, ‘into practice’ where we explore how the topic might be implemented in the participants teaching practice or ‘shut up and write’ facilitating the reflective writing for your teaching portfolio, GCTE, HEA participants.
