This module provides an overview of the origins of learning theory, its scope and development over time, and associated principles of adult learning. Participants are encouraged to think critically about their own conceptions of learning and teaching, reflect on learning theory in relation to the demands of the contemporary higher education environment, and consider how teaching practices are informed and shaped by theory.
Learning Outcomes
