Apache Kafka® Developer

This six week short course provides participants with the fundamental skills required to develop and operate Apache Kafka. Developed by open source experts, Instaclustr, and delivered in partnership with the University of Canberra (UC Pro), participants have engaged in hands on workshops, online content and assessment to develop their understanding of Apache Kafka development and administration. The course material has covered concepts and practical exercises in: Apache Kafka Fundamentals Apache Kafka Building blocks Apache Kafka Development Apache Kafka Ecosystem Advanced Kafka Concepts and, Administering Apache Kafka. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have attained the below Learning Outcomes: Understand the fundamentals of Apache Kafka including core concepts, architecture and the ecosystem. Learn to build and manage Kafka clusters using industry best practices. Learn to configure, monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters. Learn how to code and build applications that can both publish and consume data from a Kafka cluster. Learn advanced concepts including security and core supporting tools and ecosystem services
